Jog for Hope

Hello all!

The Tree Huggers from Taylor's College Sri Hartamas will be organising a Jogathon to raise funds for SCAS&FT, an association providing opportunities and programmes for spastic children.

If you are free on the 19th of July, give something back to society by signing up for it! Here's where you can get more information:

To Mr Leon Pek: Yours are not crap...see mine!! :D

In a pub, a corner of a pub, there was an emo guy...emo-ing...he was starring at his cup of beer for hours, watery eyeballs popping out..as if he just lost a pretty girl to leon.

A macho guy suddenly approached him and gave him a big slap on his shoulders...
Macho guy (with a deep voice): "Hey bro...act like a MAN with *you know lah* (extracted from leon's dictionary) (slams table) come...I'll take the beer!!! (snatches beer away) (*glup glup glup*)(*burp*)

The emo guy started to cry hopelessly when the macho guy took the last drip of his beer...

Macho guy(raise eyebrow): "Eh, you're a man with *you know lah*!!! How can you cry like that?? I'll just get another two cups of beer for you...Imma good listener you know...tell me what problem you're facing...well I can help =)"

Emo guy(sobbing): "No...it's not as simple as what you think ...(*sobx*)...i got fired by my boss and got robbed...when i went home i saw my wife with that good for nothing gardener on bed...(still sobbing) when i was just about to end my life......someone drank my poisonous beer!!!!"

Have you ever felt sad
that life didn't turn out the
way you've always wanted it to be?

Have you ever felt jealous
of the luxurious life rich people
are living daily?

Have you ever envy
the type of attention
celebrities get?

Well, stop complaining!
Cause they are many people
out there who are living in much
worse conditions compared to us!

And yes!
They do wish they have the kind of life we have.

As I was feeling useless
like any other ordinary day,
I came across this article in TheStar.

This baby boy was born without
a right thumb, right ear, proper eyelids
and the *you know lah*.

Really sad man.
And ironically the mother said this:
“We are sad to think that he will grow up without the male organ,
and the emotional stress that awaits him.”

I wonder why she only mentions the male
organ and not the other parts. Lol..
All I know is I would never want to be in his position.

Lesson to be learnt:
Be content with what you have!!
They are many out there suffering more than us.

Oh ya! Wana wish HAO YUAN a belated HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY!!! Hers was on the 9th of June...

And wana wish everyone HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!! Cherish and love yr DAD/PAPA to the max weyh!!!

And one more thing...I'm turning 18 jor...in 4 days time... Sad case =.= sounds soooo old...... and i'm gonna celebrate alone there.. shitty lar.. 1st yr bday without my family.. i'll miss them lots... :'(
